Immediately to the south is Redridge Lake and the Salmon Trout River; both offer a wide variety of fishing options. The Salmon Trout River is currently being considered as a Coaster Brook Trout rehabilitation site. It is a favorite Steelhead and Brook Trout fishing river.
On the West side of the Salmon Trout River is the snowmobile trail which connects to the hundreds of miles of groomed trails that spider web the beautiful Keweenaw.
The entire property is surrounded by 100's of undeveloped acres of commercial forestry lands. They are open for public hunting and fishing. Hunting includes: deer, partridge, bear.
To the west are the beautiful sandstone cliffs that offer a spectacular view in the winter with ice formations in a variety of hues. To the north is a beach that goes on for miles. Great for sunset bonfires! The northern shoreline passes rock formations and small waterfalls. Having a camera is a must to share the beauty with friends and family.
